700 Mbps deserializer for serial-link chipset
The MAX9218ECM+T is a single-channel LVDS deserializer from Analog Devices, rated for a serial data rate of 700 Mbps. It converts one LVDS serial stream into 27 parallel LVCMOS or LVTTL outputs. The 700 Mbps ceiling sets the maximum pixel clock or data throughput the link can sustain — for a 24-bit RGB video stream with sync bits, this comfortably supports resolutions up to WXGA at 60 Hz without compression.
