Serializer for panel video links — what the 700 Mbps rating buys you
The MAX9217ETM+ is a 27-input serializer from Analog Devices (formerly Maxim Integrated) that takes parallel LVCMOS or LVTTL data and serializes it onto a single LVDS pair at up to 700 Mbps.
Supply rail and temperature — where this part lives on the board
Runs on a single 3V to 3.6V supply, so it sits comfortably on a 3.3V digital rail — no extra regulator needed if your FPGA or SoC already runs at 3.3V. The -40°C to +85°C industrial temperature range covers outdoor telecom cabinets, factory-floor HMI panels, and unventilated enclosures. The 48-TQFN (6x6 mm) package is a compact footprint for space-constrained display driver boards, but the exposed pad needs a thermal via pattern under the part if you're pushing the full 700 Mbps continuously in a warm ambient.
Lifecycle and sourcing — active, no redesign pressure
Listed as Active and ROHS3 compliant.
