The 2 mV maximum input offset voltage at 5 V sets the DC accuracy floor — for a 10 mV threshold, the trip point can shift by up to 20 % from the nominal value, so the upstream signal chain must budget this error. The 0.3 µA maximum input bias current at 5 V is low enough that a 10 kΩ source resistor drops only 3 mV, negligible for most sensor interfaces.
