Comparator with on-chip reference — one-chip threshold detection
The Maxim Integrated MAX9062EUK+T is a single comparator with an integrated voltage reference, packaged in a SOT-23-5. It eliminates the external reference resistor divider or reference IC for a single-threshold detection circuit. Typical applications include battery-voltage monitoring, over-current detection, and window comparators in portable or industrial equipment where board space is tight.
1.1 µA quiescent — fits always-on and battery rails
Quiescent current maxes at 1.1 µA with a supply range from 1 V to 5.5 V.
15 µs propagation delay — not for fast switching
The 15 µs max propagation delay sets a speed floor: this is a DC or low-frequency threshold monitor, not a PWM-loop or high-speed zero-crossing detector. It works for over-voltage/under-voltage lockout, battery fuel-gauge interrupts, and temperature-alarm latches where the signal changes in milliseconds, not microseconds.
Open-drain output with ±12 mV hysteresis
The open-drain output lets the comparator drive a logic input at a different voltage level. The ±12 mV internal hysteresis prevents chatter near the threshold.
Active production — no LTB risk
Lifecycle status is Active per the manufacturer. The part is ROHS3 compliant.
