Quad comparator for threshold and signal conditioning
The MAX9034AUD+T is a quad general-purpose comparator in a 14-TSSOP package. It compares two analog inputs per channel and outputs CMOS, rail-to-rail, or TTL levels.
228ns propagation delay — what it means for loop response
Maximum propagation delay is 228ns. That figure is the worst-case across temperature and supply.
55µA quiescent current — keeps the power budget lean
Maximum quiescent current is 55µA across all four comparators. Input bias current is 0.008µA max.
100dB CMRR and PSRR — noise rejection in dirty environments
Both the common-mode rejection ratio and power-supply rejection ratio are rated at 100dB typical. That means the comparator largely ignores variations on the supply rail and common-mode voltage shifts — useful when the 5V rail is shared with a motor driver or a relay coil, or when the input signal rides on a noisy ground. The 4mV internal hysteresis adds further immunity by preventing output chatter near the switching threshold.
Active lifecycle — no LTB watch needed
The MAX9034AUD+T carries an Active product status and is ROHS3 compliant. There is no end-of-life notice, no last-time-buy window to track. For BOM planners and sourcing teams, this part is safe to qualify into new designs and production builds without obsolescence risk in the near term.
