The MAX8902BATA/V+T: The output voltage is set via external resistors from a 0.6 V reference up to 5.3 V. Its PSRR profile — 92 dB at 5 kHz rolling off to 62 dB at 100 kHz — means it rejects switching-regulator ripple across the audio and low-MHz bands, making it a fit for powering analog sensor front-ends or codec supplies in an automotive infotainment or ADAS module.
Dropout, quiescent current, and protection set
Maximum dropout is 120 mV at the full 500 mA load — the input rail needs only that headroom above the set output voltage to stay in regulation. Built-in protection covers over-temperature, reverse polarity, short-circuit, and includes a soft-start ramp to limit inrush on output capacitor charging.
