Built-in protection includes over-current, over-temperature, and short-circuit shut-down. The Enable pin allows the output to be gated by a logic signal — useful for sequencing multiple rails or powering down a subsystem to save leakage. The Power Good output flags when the output is within regulation, so a downstream load or supervisor can wait for the rail to settle before enabling.
