Boost rail for 1.8V to 3.3V conversion
The MAX8569BETT+T is a synchronous step-up (boost) regulator from Analog Devices that delivers a fixed 3.3V output from input voltages as low as 1.5V and up to 5.5V. It integrates a 750mA switch and synchronous rectifier, which improves efficiency over a diode-based boost topology — particularly at higher output currents. The part is housed in a 6-TDFN exposed-pad package (3x3 mm) and operates over -40°C to +85°C, making it suitable for portable, battery-powered, and industrial equipment where a regulated 3.3V rail must be generated from a single-cell alkaline, Li-ion, or multi-cell battery stack.
750mA switch and synchronous rectification
The 750mA switch rating is the peak current the internal power FET can handle — it is not the continuous output current. For a 3.3V output from a 1.8V input, expect around 300–400 mA continuous output before the switch current limit is reached, depending on inductor value and efficiency. The synchronous rectifier eliminates the external Schottky diode, saving board space and reducing forward-voltage losses, which matters when every millivolt of headroom counts in a low-input-voltage boost design.
Active lifecycle, ROHS3, and sourcing posture
The MAX8569BETT+T carries an Active product status and is ROHS3 compliant.
