Active lifecycle — no LTB clock ticking
No last-time-buy notice, no NRND flag, and no end-of-life horizon on the ledger. For a BOM freeze or a new design, that removes the sourcing risk of an imminent discontinuation.
Temperature grade — industrial to under-hood range
Rated for -40°C to 125°C ambient, the MAX821UUS+T covers industrial control cabinets, outdoor telecom enclosures, and automotive under-hood environments.
Push-pull output — no external pull-up resistor
The push-pull (totem-pole) output drives the reset line high or low without needing an external pull-up. That saves a resistor and one PCB trace, which matters on dense boards or when the reset net is shared across multiple loads. Active-low polarity is the common convention for microcontroller reset pins — the supervisor pulls the line low on a fault and releases it high when the supply is valid.
Sourcing this part
MAX821UUS+T is sourced through independent distribution channels and quoted to order against an RFQ. If you are qualifying this for a production BOM, the active lifecycle and ROHS3 compliance clear the two main gates. Submit an RFQ for a firm price and delivery window.
