Five-rail supervisor for mixed-voltage boards
The MAX8215CSD+: This makes it a direct fit for systems that need to sequence or guard mixed analog and digital supplies — think a data-acquisition board running ±12 V for the front-end op-amps and 5 V for the ADC and logic. Each open-drain output asserts low when its monitored rail drops below the threshold, with a typical propagation delay of 20 µs. That is fast enough to catch a brownout before the downstream load rail collapses — the supervisor asserts reset while the output caps still hold the rail above the logic threshold.
