Five-rail supervisor in a 16-SOIC
The MAX8213AESE+ is a five-channel multi-voltage supervisor from Analog Devices, monitoring up to five independent supply rails with a single 16-SOIC package. It asserts a common active-low reset output when any monitored voltage drops below its programmed threshold, and the reset timeout is under 1 ms minimum.
Thresholds and output architecture
Five adjustable threshold voltages let you set trip points per rail using external resistor dividers — useful when a board has mixed voltage domains (3.3 V, 2.5 V, 1.8 V, etc.) and each needs its own undervoltage monitor. The reset output is open-drain, active low — it pulls low when any rail is out of tolerance and releases to high-impedance when all rails are valid. This lets multiple supervisors share a common pull-up resistor on the reset bus without contention.
The 16-SOIC narrow-body (3.90 mm width) footprint is a standard JEDEC outline — no special land pattern or via-in-pad needed. The surface-mount package flows through a standard reflow profile for lead-free assembly.
