3.08V threshold supervisor for processor monitoring
The MAX803TEXR+T: When VCC drops below this threshold, the open-drain output pulls low and stays asserted for a minimum of 140 ms after the rail recovers, giving the core time to power up cleanly.
Active-low open-drain output with 140 ms timeout
This topology lets the supervisor share the reset line with other open-drain devices without contention. The 140 ms minimum timeout covers the startup time of most quartz oscillators and PLL-based clocks. The threshold voltage is set internally to 3.08 V, which suits 3.3 V logic systems. The part monitors a single voltage rail; for multi-rail supervision, multiple MAX803 devices or a multi-channel supervisor is needed.
SC-70-3 package and surface-mount assembly
Housed in a 3-lead SC-70 (SOT-323) package, the MAX803TEXR+T occupies minimal board area. Surface-mount mounting is specified, and the package is compatible with reflow soldering profiles typical for lead-free assemblies.
