Four-rail PMIC for handheld power trees
The MAX77714EWC+T is a four-output power-management IC from Analog Devices, designed to supply the core, I/O, and peripheral rails in handheld and mobile devices. Its 2.6 V to 5.5 V input range accepts a single-cell Li-ion battery or a 5 V USB bus, while the four programmable outputs cover 0.26 V to 3.78 V — enough headroom for a modern application processor plus memory and RF front-end rails.
Housed in a 70-bump WLP (wafer-level package) measuring 4.1 mm × 3.25 mm, the MAX77714EWC+T uses the 70-WFBGA, WLBGA footprint. Supplied on Tape & Reel (TR) or Cut Tape (CT), the part is surface-mount ready for standard reflow profiles. The WLP requires a clean, flat solder-paste stencil and a nitrogen reflow environment to avoid head-in-pillow defects on the fine-pitch bumps.
Lifecycle and compliance status
RoHS3 compliant (2011/65/EU + 2015/863), with no exemptions that would restrict its use in EU-market products. No REACH SVHC or UL listing is cited in the available documentation.
