Threshold and timeout — what they mean for the rail
The MAX707CSA+T: That 140 ms window gives the supply time to settle and the oscillator to stabilise before the processor starts executing — a cold boot needs that delay to avoid running on a rail that has not fully come up.
Output options — both polarities on one die
Both an active-high and an active-low reset output are available from the same part, each push-pull. That means a single MAX707CSA+T can drive a microcontroller's /RESET pin (active low) and simultaneously signal a power-good flag to a GPIO or enable pin (active high) without an external inverter.
Active production and compliance
Analog Devices lists the MAX707CSA+T as Active with full RoHS3 compliance.
