Supervisor with 2.93V threshold and 140 ms timeout
The MAX706SEUA+ is a Simple Reset/Power-On Reset supervisor from Analog Devices, designed to monitor a single voltage rail and hold a microprocessor in reset until the supply stabilizes. The push-pull, totem-pole output drives the processor's reset input directly without requiring an external pull-up resistor, simplifying the BOM and saving board space. The device monitors a single voltage, making it a straightforward choice for single-rail systems where a dedicated supervisor is preferred over a multi-voltage sequencer.
Industrial temperature range and compact package
The 8-uMAX/uSOP package (3.00 mm width) fits tight PCB layouts — the same footprint as 8-TSSOP or 8-MSOP, so existing board designs for those packages can accept this part without a layout change. The tube packaging is typical for small-quantity prototyping or low-volume production; tape-and-reel variants are available if the BOM quantity justifies reel packaging.
RoHS3 compliant, with no restricted substances per the current EU directive.
