What the 2.63 V threshold and 140 ms timeout mean for your power rail
The MAX706RESA+T is a single-channel supervisor that monitors a 2.63 V threshold — this is the reset assert voltage, not the nominal supply. If your rail dips below 2.63 V, the active-low RESET output (push-pull, totem pole) pulls low and holds for a minimum of 140 ms after the rail recovers above threshold.
The 8-SOIC footprint is standard across the MAX706 family, making it a drop-in for existing layouts that use the same pinout.
