What the ratings mean for a BOM line
As a Battery Backup Circuit, the device supervises a single supply rail and asserts a reset signal when the monitored voltage drops below 3.075V. This threshold is typical for 3.3V logic rails — the reset triggers before the rail falls out of specification for downstream digital ICs. The reset output is Active Low, push-pull/totem-pole — it drives directly into the reset input of a microcontroller or processor without needing an external pull-up resistor. A 140 ms minimum reset timeout holds the system in reset long enough for the power rail and oscillator to stabilise after power-on. Housed in an 8-SOIC package — a standard footprint that mates with widely available SOIC-8 land patterns.
