10-channel linear driver, 20 mA per channel
The MAX6947ATE+T is a linear LED driver from Analog Devices, delivering 20 mA per channel across 10 outputs — each output sinks a constant current set by an internal reference, so no external ballast resistors are needed for the LED string. The output voltage ceiling is 7 V, which means the driver can power a string of two or three standard white or blue LEDs (forward voltage ~3.0-3.4 V each) from a 3.6 V supply rail, or drive a single high-Vf LED with headroom to spare.
The 16-WFQFN exposed-pad package (3x3 mm, 16-TQFN) provides a thermal path through the paddle to the PCB copper plane — for a 10-channel driver sinking 200 mA total, the junction temperature stays well below the 125°C limit with a standard 2-layer board layout.
Active production, ROHS3 compliant
ROHS3 compliance is confirmed, which means the part is free of the ten restricted substances including the four phthalates (DEHP, BBP, DBP, DIBP) under EU Directive 2015/863.
