What the sequencer does for a single-rail supervisor
The MAX6896AALT+T is a single-voltage sequencer/supervisor — it monitors one rail and holds the reset output low (Active Low, push-pull/totem pole) until the supply settles above the threshold. The push-pull output drives the downstream enable or reset pin directly; no external pull-up resistor is needed. Both the voltage threshold and the reset timeout are Adjustable/Selectable — you set them with a single capacitor or resistor, no resistor divider string eating board space. This matters when the PCB is tight and the supervisor sits next to the rail it guards.
Industrial temp grade — where this part lives
The 6-µDFN (1.5x1) package fits under a heatsink or inside a potted module — the exposed pad on the 6-WFDFN draws heat into the board copper. ROHS3 compliant, so it passes EU material declarations without an exemption note.
