Single-channel voltage supervisor for 1.3V rails
The Analog Devices MAX6837HXSD3+T is a simple reset/power-on reset IC that monitors a single voltage rail at a 1.313V threshold. When the monitored supply drops below that threshold, the active-low open-drain output asserts reset and holds it for a minimum of 140ms after the supply recovers. This part is built for surface-mount assembly in the compact SC-70-4 package, suited for portable, industrial, and embedded systems that need a clean power-on reset signal without extra logic.
1.313V threshold — what it means for your rail
The 1.313V threshold monitors a single voltage rail. The supervisor trips before the core browns out, giving the system a clean reset assertion. The 140ms minimum timeout allows the supply and oscillator to stabilise before the processor starts executing code.
Active-low open-drain output
The open-drain output needs an external pull-up resistor to the logic supply (typically 10kΩ to 100kΩ). It can be wire-ORed with other open-drain reset outputs if multiple supervisors share a common reset line. Active-low polarity matches the standard reset input on most MCUs, FPGAs, and SoCs.
Package and temperature range
The SC-70-4 (SOT-343) package is compact. The -40°C to 85°C operating range covers industrial enclosures, outdoor telecom cabinets, and automotive cabin environments.
Lifecycle and supply position
Listed as Active with ROHS3 compliance.
