Dual-rail supervisor in a SOT-23-6
The MAX6829SFUT+T from Maxim Integrated is a two-channel multi-voltage supervisor that monitors two independent supply rails with thresholds of 1.05 V and 2.93 V. It asserts a push-pull, active-low reset output when either monitored voltage falls below its threshold, and holds reset for a minimum of 140 ms after all voltages recover. The SOT-23-6 package keeps board area small — useful for compact power-sequencing or fault-detection circuits in industrial controllers, base stations, and automotive modules where the -40°C to 125°C operating range covers under-hood and outdoor environments.
Thresholds and timeout — what they mean for the BOM
The 1.05 V threshold monitors a core rail; the 2.93 V threshold monitors an I/O or auxiliary supply. The 140 ms minimum reset timeout is fixed internally.
