Supervisor for low-voltage rails — 1.67V threshold
The Analog Devices MAX6824WUK+T is a simple reset/power-on reset supervisor IC that monitors a single voltage rail. Its 1.67V threshold is sized for low-voltage core supplies.
140 ms reset timeout — what it buys you
The 140 ms minimum reset timeout holds the processor in reset long enough for the power supply to settle and the oscillator to start cleanly. That's margin against a brown-out or a slow-ramping supply. For a board that powers up from a regulated rail with known rise time, this timeout is standard; for a design with a large input capacitor or a long power-good delay, check that 140 ms is enough headroom before the processor expects its reset released.
Temperature range and package
Rated from -40°C to 125°C, this supervisor can live in an engine bay, an industrial cabinet, or a hot telecom enclosure. The SOT-23-5 package is a small five-pin surface-mount footprint that fits tight layouts.
Lifecycle and sourcing posture
It is ROHS3 compliant.
