What the MAX6765TTSD2+T does in your power rail
The MAX6765TTSD2+T from Analog Devices (formerly Maxim Integrated) is a combined regulator and supervisor IC in a 6-TDFN (3x3) package. It monitors a single voltage rail with a 2.888V threshold and asserts an active-low, open-drain reset output when the supply drops below that level. The reset output stays low for a minimum of 8.75ms after the rail recovers, giving the system time to stabilize before the processor or logic starts running.
Temperature grade and deployment environment
Rated for -40°C to 125°C ambient, this part fits industrial control, automotive under-hood, and outdoor telecom gear where the board sees wide thermal swings. No separate AEC-Q grade is listed, but the full 125°C junction capability covers most harsh-environment applications without derating.
Package and footprint notes
The 6-WDFN exposed pad (3x3 mm) requires a thermal via pattern under the pad for heat sinking if the regulator section is dissipating more than a few hundred milliwatts. The exposed pad is the main thermal path — skipping the via stitch risks thermal shutdown at elevated ambient temperatures.
Sourcing and lifecycle
Listed as active in production with ROHS3 compliance.
