The MAX6753KA46/V+T is a Simple Reset/Power-On Reset IC from Analog Devices, part of the Automotive, AEC-Q100 series. It monitors a single voltage rail and asserts a reset signal when the supply drops below 4.625V. For a nominal 5V supply, that threshold sits about 7.5% below the rail — tight enough to catch a brownout before logic errors start, but with enough margin to ride through a transient dip without nuisance resets. The reset output is Active Low, Open Drain or Open Collector. That means you pull it up to any voltage the downstream logic needs and multiple open-drain outputs can share a single pull-up for a wired-OR reset bus.
Temperature range and automotive qualification
The AEC-Q100 qualification means it has passed the stress tests for under-hood and cabin electronics — thermal cycling, high-temperature operating life, and ESD robustness. If your design targets a vehicle, an outdoor telecom cabinet, or a factory floor, the grade is already baked in.
Package and mounting — SOT-23-8 footprint
Housed in an SOT-23-8 package with Surface Mount mounting. The 8-pin SOT-23 is a common footprint — the same pad layout used by many other reset ICs in this family. Available in Tape & Reel (TR) or Cut Tape (CT) to match your production or prototyping volume.
