The MAX6753KA26+T: RoHS compliance (ROHS3) is confirmed, so it passes the material-restriction check for EU and most global markets without an exemption review.
Reset threshold and output — the fit decision
Monitors a single supply rail with a 2.625 V threshold — this is the voltage at which the reset asserts as the rail falls. The reset output is active-low, open-drain — it pulls low when the monitored voltage drops below threshold, and releases (high-Z) when the supply recovers. This lets multiple open-drain reset outputs share a common pull-up resistor in a wired-OR configuration, common on multi-rail boards. Reset timeout is adjustable or selectable — the exact timing is set by an external capacitor or pin-strap, giving the designer control over how long the reset stays asserted after the supply returns. This is useful for waiting until the oscillator and PLL have settled before the processor starts executing.
Temperature range and package — board-fit constraints
Housed in SOT-23-8, a 3×3 mm footprint with 0.65 mm pitch. The small package fits tight layouts, but the 8-pin count means the reset output, MR (manual reset) input, and threshold-adjust pin are all available — not just a bare reset. Surface-mount only — the SOT-23-8 is not through-hole compatible. The tape-and-reel or cut-tape packaging options suit both prototyping and production reels.
