The MAX6748KA+T: The reset timeout is also adjustable via an external capacitor, so you can tune the delay to match the downstream processor's power-up sequence without adding a separate timer IC. The push-pull output drives the reset line directly without an external pull-up resistor, which saves a component and keeps the board layout cleaner. Active-low polarity is the common convention for most MCU reset inputs, so this part drops in without a logic inversion.
