Three-rail supervision in a single SOT-23-8
The MAX6728AKATGD3+T is a three-channel multi-voltage supervisor from Analog Devices that monitors up to three supply rails with a single SOT-23-8 package. Two fixed thresholds at 1.11 V and 3.075 V cover the common core and I/O rails, while the third channel accepts an adjustable threshold via an external resistor divider — useful when a non-standard voltage like 1.8 V or 2.5 V needs supervision. The active-low, open-drain output asserts a reset when any monitored rail drops below its threshold and holds the reset for a minimum of 140 ms after all rails return within tolerance. That 140 ms window gives the downstream processor time to stabilize its oscillator and power-on configuration before the reset de-asserts.
Industrial temperature grade and board-fit
The SOT-23-8 footprint is a standard 2.9 mm × 1.6 mm body with 0.65 mm pitch, compatible with the common SOT-23-6 layout but extended to eight pins; the extra pins carry the adjustable threshold input and the third monitor channel.
