SC-70-3 supervisor with a 2.93V trip point
The MAX6382XR29D3+T: The reset output is Active High with a push-pull, totem-pole stage — no external pull-up resistor is needed on the reset line to the downstream logic. After the monitored rail recovers above the threshold, the reset remains asserted for a minimum of 140ms, providing a guaranteed hold-off time for the system power supply and oscillator to stabilize. Housed in a 3-lead SC-70 (SOT-323 footprint), the part occupies minimal board area and suits dense, space-constrained designs.
Temperature range and supply monitoring
The 2.93V threshold is a standard trip point for 3.3V logic rails, asserting reset before the supply falls below the minimum operating voltage of most 3.3V digital ICs.
Fully ROHS3 compliant (exemption-free), meeting the current EU directive for lead-free and restricted-substance content. The part is a Simple Reset/Power-On Reset type — no watchdog timer, manual reset input, or adjustable timeout is integrated. For applications requiring those features, a different supervisor from the MAX63xx family would be the next step up.
