Active-low, push-pull output — no external pull-up needed
The reset output is active-low (asserts low when the supply drops below threshold) and uses a push-pull (totem-pole) stage. That means it can both source and sink current, driving the reset pin of a CMOS or TTL logic input directly without an external pull-up resistor. This saves one component and one PCB trace. The output stays valid as long as the supply voltage is above about 1V, which covers the range where most logic devices hold their reset state.
Industrial temperature range and package
Rated for -40°C to 85°C ambient, this part handles factory-floor enclosures, outdoor telecom cabinets, and HVAC equipment without derating. The SOT-23-3 package is a three-lead surface-mount footprint that reflows easily and fits on tight layouts. Pin 1 identification is clear on the package body — important when hand-placing or reworking a board under a hot-air station.
Lifecycle and sourcing
The part is ROHS3 compliant.
