Open-drain output and pull-up
The open-drain output requires an external pull-up resistor to the monitored supply or the system's logic voltage. This lets the reset signal be shared across multiple ICs or pulled to a different voltage than the supervisor itself runs on. The output is active-low, so the processor sees a low during reset and a high-impedance state when the supply is good.
Lifecycle and sourcing
The MAX6362PUT29+T carries an active lifecycle status and is ROHS3 compliant.
