Supervisor for a 3.3 V rail — what the threshold means
The MAX6361LUT29+T is a single-channel battery backup supervisor that holds a microprocessor or SRAM in reset when the supply dips below 2.93 V. It asserts reset before the logic becomes unreliable, then releases after a 150 ms minimum timeout once the rail recovers. The push-pull output drives directly into a microcontroller reset input without an external pull-up. Housed in a SOT-23-6 package, it fits on compact PCBs where board area is tight. The -40°C to 85°C temperature grade suits industrial control, telecom, and outdoor equipment — not under-hood automotive, but fine for factory-floor or base-station environments.
