What this reset IC does on your board
Operating from -40°C to 85°C, it covers industrial control, telecom, and embedded systems where a clean reset signal is required for MCUs, DSPs, or FPGAs. No external pull-up resistor is needed because the output is push-pull.
Push-pull output vs open-drain
The push-pull output drives the reset line high or low without an external pull-up resistor. That saves a component and simplifies the layout. Open-drain versions exist in the same family if you need wired-OR sharing with other reset sources.
Lifecycle and sourcing
The MAX6346XR46+T is listed as Active with ROHS3 compliance. No end-of-life notice or last-time-buy window is in effect, so it's safe to qualify into new production.
