Voltage supervisor for a single 3V rail
The Maxim Integrated MAX6326XR30+T is a simple reset/power-on reset supervisor that monitors a single 3V supply rail. When the monitored voltage drops below the 3V threshold, it asserts an active-low reset output (push-pull/totem pole) and holds it for a minimum of 100ms after the rail recovers. This part is housed in a 3-lead SC-70-3 package (also SOT-323 footprint) and operates over -40°C to 85°C ambient temperature, making it suitable for industrial control, telecom, and general-purpose embedded systems where a clean power-on reset or brownout detection is needed.
3V threshold — selecting the right rail
The 3V threshold monitors a 3.0V nominal supply. The active-low reset output is compatible with most MCUs and SoCs that expect a low-true reset signal.
Lifecycle and sourcing reality
The MAX6326XR30+T carries an active lifecycle status and is ROHS3 compliant. This part is sourced through independent distribution and is quoted to order against an RFQ. For BOM planning, this is a stable, long-lifecycle part that will not force a redesign in the next few years.
