Single-channel supervisor with an adjustable trip point
The MAX6302CUA+: The reset output is an Open Drain or Open Collector structure, so the pull-up resistor and logic-high voltage are set by the downstream circuit — not by the supervisor itself. 2.8 ms minimum reset timeout — what it means for the boot sequence
After the supply rail returns above the threshold, the MAX6302CUA+ holds the reset output asserted for a minimum of 2.8 ms before releasing the processor to start code execution. This 2.8 ms window gives the power supply and oscillator time to stabilise before the CPU fetches its first instruction — a shorter timeout risks a brown-boot where the core starts before the rails are settled.
