Output voltage and noise profile
The MAX6241BESA+: Fixed 4.096 V output — the 1 LSB transition point for 12-bit ADCs with a 4.096 V span or 16-bit ADCs with a 0-5 V input. Wideband noise is 2 µVrms up to 10 kHz. The buried zener topology delivers lower long-term drift and better noise than a bandgap reference — typical 1/f noise corner sits below 0.1 Hz, so the 0.1-10 Hz spec captures the dominant low-frequency noise that matters for DC precision.
Temperature drift and output tolerance
Temperature coefficient is 7 ppm/°C typical. Initial tolerance is ±0.1% (4.091 to 4.101 V). Input supply range of 8 V to 36 V gives headroom for 12 V or 24 V rails; the part draws 3.2 mA quiescent and can source up to 15 mA to the load. That 15 mA output is enough to bias several op-amps or a multi-channel ADC reference buffer.
The supplier device package is 8-SOIC, same as the package/case. Surface-mount assembly with standard reflow profile; no exposed pad.
