Noise floor and output drive
Low-frequency noise is specified at 15µVp-p from 0.1Hz to 10Hz, and 500µVp-p from 10Hz to 10kHz. That 0.1-10Hz figure is the one that matters for precision ADC driving — it sets the noise floor below the ADC's LSB for a 12-bit system with a 2.5V reference (610µV LSB). Output current capability is 1 mA, which is enough to bias the reference input of most SAR ADCs or to drive a low-power external load. The supply current drawn by the reference itself is only 130µA, so the total current budget for the reference circuit stays under 1.13 mA at full output. The minimum input-to-output dropout is the difference between the input and the programmed output voltage — at a 2.5V output from a 3.3V rail, the 0.8V dropout is well within the operating margin.
8-SOIC package and board integration
For layout, place a 0.1µF ceramic capacitor close to the input pin and a 1µF to 10µF output capacitor with low ESR to maintain stability. The reference is a series type, so it does not require a minimum load current to regulate — it can drive a high-impedance ADC input directly without a buffer.
