Precision 3.3V reference with 0.06% initial accuracy
The MAX6143AASA33+ is a series voltage reference from Analog Devices delivering a fixed 3.3 V output with ±0.06% initial tolerance — tight enough to set the full-scale range for a 16-bit ADC without external trimming. That keeps the reference error budget under 0.1% even when the ambient swings from a cold start to full load.
Noise floor and drive capability for signal-chain design
A 16-bit converter with a 3.3 V reference sees less than 0.5 LSB of noise from this source alone. The part sources up to 30 mA of output current, enough to drive the reference inputs of multiple ADCs, DACs, or sensor front-ends simultaneously without an external buffer. Input voltage range spans 5.3 V to 40 V, letting the reference run directly from an unregulated 12 V or 24 V supply bus. The series topology means the input current tracks the load current, so quiescent loss stays proportional to the load.
