2.5 V reference with ±0.04% initial accuracy
The MAX6133AASA25+ from Maxim is a fixed-output series voltage reference delivering 2.5 V with a guaranteed initial tolerance of ±0.04%. Its temperature coefficient of 7 ppm/°C holds the output stable across the full -40°C to 125°C operating range, making it suitable for precision ADC references, DAC biasing, and industrial sensor front-ends where drift over temperature directly impacts system accuracy. The part operates from an input supply of 2.7 V to 12.6 V and can source or sink up to 15 mA of output current. Its own quiescent current is 85 µA, which keeps the power budget lean in loop-powered or battery-backed designs.
Package and footprint
Housed in an 8-SOIC package (3.90 mm body width), the MAX6133AASA25+ uses a standard surface-mount footprint shared by many voltage references and op-amps. No special pad layout or thermal management is required for the 15 mA output current.
Lifecycle and sourcing
ROHS3 compliance covers EU regulatory requirements.
