Fixed 4.096V reference with ±0.04% initial accuracy
The MAX6070AAUT41+T is a series voltage reference from Analog Devices that delivers a fixed 4.096V output with ±0.04% initial tolerance — tight enough to set the full-scale for a 12-bit ADC without an external trim pot.
Noise floor and output drive
Output current capability is 10 mA, enough to drive the reference input of multiple SAR ADCs or a precision DAC buffer without an external op-amp. The supply current drawn by the reference itself is only 350 µA, which matters for a battery-powered sensor node where every microamp counts. Input voltage range is 4.3V to 5.5V, so the reference runs cleanly off a 5V rail with 200 mV of headroom above the 4.096V output — a 3.3V rail is below the minimum input and will not regulate.
SOT-23-6 package and board-fit
Housed in a SOT-23-6 package with a 0.95 mm pitch, the MAX6070AAUT41+T fits a compact layout without requiring a dedicated reference footprint — the same land pattern serves a standard SOT-23-6 op-amp or comparator, so a board spin to add a precision reference is a single component swap. The part is surface-mount and supplied on Tape & Reel, making it pick-and-place ready for volume assembly. RoHS3 compliant per the lifecycle record.
