Fixed 3V series reference in SOT-23-3
The MAX6063BEUR+T is a series voltage reference from Analog Devices delivering a fixed 3V output with ±0.4% initial accuracy. Housed in a SOT-23-3 package (TO-236-3, SC-59), it is a surface-mount part suited for compact PCB layouts where board space is at a premium.
Supply range and load drive
Input voltage spans 3.2V to 12.6V, so the reference can be powered from a 5V or 12V rail without an additional LDO — the headroom above the 3V output is 0.2V minimum, which the series topology handles without dropout. Output current is rated at 5 mA, sufficient to bias the reference input of one or two ADCs plus a small resistive divider, but not intended to power external loads beyond the reference pin itself. Quiescent supply current is 125 µA typical, a modest draw that fits a battery-powered sensor node where every microamp is budgeted.
