5V series reference with tight tolerance and low drift
The MAX6050AEUR+T is a precision series voltage reference from Maxim Integrated, delivering a fixed 5V output with ±0.2% initial accuracy. Noise performance is specified at 120µVp-p from 0.1Hz to 10Hz and 240µVrms from 10Hz to 10kHz. For a 5V reference, this low-frequency noise floor is well below the LSB of a 12-bit ADC (1.22mV at 5V), so it does not limit resolution in most precision measurement chains.
Supply range and current budget
The input voltage range spans 5.2V to 12.6V, giving headroom above the 5V output for regulation. Quiescent supply current is 35µA typical, while the output can source or sink up to 500µA — enough to bias a single op-amp input or drive the reference pin of an ADC without an external buffer.
SOT-23-3 package and tape-and-reel ordering code
The "/T" suffix denotes tape-and-reel packaging, which is the standard for automated pick-and-place assembly. The cut-tape option is also listed for prototype or low-volume builds.
