3 V series reference — precision and drift for the ADC reference rail
The MAX6034AEXR30+T is a 3 V fixed-output series voltage reference from Analog Devices, trimmed to ±0.2% initial accuracy. Input voltage range is 3.2 V to 5.5 V, giving about 200 mV headroom above the 3 V output at the low end. Supply current is 125 µA typical, which matters when the reference shares a lightly loaded rail in a battery-powered instrument.
Output current is rated at 1 mA maximum. The reference can drive the reference input of a single SAR ADC or a low-power DAC directly, but a buffer is needed when the load draws more than 1 mA or when the ADC's reference input capacitance is large enough to cause transient droop.
SC-70-3 footprint and board integration
The part is supplied in a 3-lead SC-70 (SOT-323) package, supplier device package SC-70-3. Surface-mount assembly with standard reflow profiles; no exposed pad to solder. The reel quantity is the standard 7-inch reel format for this package family.
