4.096 V fixed output with ±1% tolerance
The MAX6004EUR+T is a series voltage reference from Analog Devices providing a fixed 4.096 V output with ±1% initial tolerance. Its temperature coefficient is 100 ppm/°C, so the output shifts by roughly 0.41 mV per °C — a figure to budget in a 12-bit system where 1 LSB at 4.096 V is 1 mV.
45 µA supply current, 400 µA output drive
Quiescent supply current is 45 µA typical, and the reference can source or sink up to 400 µA. The input voltage range spans 4.296 V to 12.6 V, giving headroom for a 5 V or 12 V rail while maintaining regulation. In a 16-bit ADC application with a 4.096 V reference, the noise contribution from the reference alone is well under 1 LSB at the 10 Hz corner, but the 10 kHz noise floor should be checked against the converter's noise budget.
