Eight 12-bit DACs on a single I²C bus
The MAX5825AWP+T packs eight 12-bit voltage-output DACs into a 20-bump WLP package, each channel independently addressable over a single I²C bus. With ±0.5 LSB INL and ±0.2 LSB DNL, the monotonicity across all eight channels is guaranteed — no missing codes across the full 12-bit range. Settling time is 4.5 µs typical to ±0.5 LSB, so updating all eight channels sequentially takes under 40 µs — fast enough for closed-loop trim or multi-channel set-point control in a 100 Hz update loop.

The 20-WLP (wafer-level package, 20-bump) has a 0.40 mm ball pitch typical for this class — the footprint is compact but demands a controlled solder-paste volume and a reflow profile matched to the 0.30 mm ball diameter. Supplied in Tape & Reel (TR) or Cut Tape (CT) — the TR format is the standard production reel for automated pick-and-place; CT suits prototype or low-volume builds.
