8-channel density in a 28-TSSOP footprint
The MAX5593EUI+ packs eight 10-bit voltage-output DACs into a 28-TSSOP package — each channel is independently buffered and driven by an R-2R ladder architecture. For a BOM that needs four or more analog outputs, this single IC replaces the board area and routing of multiple single-channel DACs. The SPI/DSP serial interface supports daisy-chaining multiple devices on a single bus, keeping the digital isolation barrier simple when the DACs sit on a remote analog card behind an isolator.
Settling time and monotonicity for closed-loop control
6 µs settling time to ±0.5 LSB means each channel can update at roughly 165 kHz full-scale steps — fast enough for servo valve control or audio-level trimming in a test rack. INL is ±0.5 LSB max, DNL ±1 LSB max, guaranteeing monotonicity across all codes — no missing codes in the transfer curve, so the output ramps cleanly without glitch steps that would upset a closed-loop PID controller.
