Dual 100kΩ potentiometer — 256-tap resolution via I²C
Two independent 100kΩ potentiometer channels, each with 256 wiper tap positions — the 0.39% step size per tap gives fine-grained voltage division for trimming or level-setting in analog signal chains. The I²C interface handles both channels over a two-wire bus, with a selectable address so up to four devices share the same bus without address conflicts — useful in multi-channel calibration boards. Non-volatile memory retains the wiper position at power-off — no need to re-initialise the trim after a power cycle, which matters for set-and-forget adjustments like bias voltages or sensor offsets.
The 70ppm/°C typical temperature coefficient means the resistance drifts about 7Ω per °C at the 100kΩ end — negligible for most divider applications but worth budgeting in a precision reference. Wiper resistance is 325Ω typical — the series resistance between the wiper terminal and the internal tap point. At the low end of the divider this adds a small offset; factor it into the end-stop voltage calculation.
