Quad 10-bit DAC in a 20-pin SSOP
The Maxim MAX5250BCAP+ packs four 10-bit digital-to-analog converters with voltage-buffered outputs into a 20-SSOP package. Each DAC uses an R-2R ladder architecture and accepts an external voltage reference. The SPI data interface lets you daisy-chain multiple devices or address them individually from a single microcontroller SPI bus. Analog and digital supplies both run from a single 5V rail — no separate AVDD/DVDD sequencing needed.
5V-only supply — what it means for your BOM
Both the analog and digital supply pins require 5V. An external reference sets the full-scale output range.
Linearity and settling
INL and DNL are both specified at ±1 LSB maximum. Typical settling time is 10 µs.
Lifecycle and sourcing
The MAX5250BCAP+ carries an Active product status and is ROHS3 compliant. No end-of-life notice or last-time-buy window is in effect.
