Dual-Output regulator for wide-VIN rails
The MAX5093BATE+ is a dual-output power management IC from Analog Devices, combining one step-down (buck) switching regulator with one linear (LDO) regulator in a single 16-TQFN package. It accepts a 3.5V to 72V input supply — wide enough for 12V/24V/48V industrial buses and automotive battery rails where load-dump transients can spike well above the nominal voltage. The buck output delivers 7V fixed (or adjustable up to 12V) at 250mA; the LDO output provides 5V fixed (or adjustable from 1.5V to 10V) also at 250mA. Switching at a fixed 1MHz keeps the inductor and output capacitors small, which matters when board area is tight.
