Product details

DPDT switch array, 4 Ohm on-resistance

The MAX4996LETG+T is a triple DPDT analog switch from Analog Devices, integrating three independent 2:2 multiplexer/demultiplexer circuits in a single 24-TQFN package. Each switch path carries a maximum on-resistance of 4 Ohm, with channel-to-channel matching held to 100 mOhm — tight enough that gain error across signal paths stays within a fraction of a percent in precision analog front-ends.

670 MHz bandwidth, signal routing at speed

A -3 dB bandwidth of 670 MHz means this switch passes high-speed video, RF IF, or fast serial data without rolling off the signal edges. The 2.5 pF / 4 pF off-channel capacitance keeps the load light on the source, and the 100 µs turn-on / 6 µs turn-off timing suits relay-replacement or signal-routing applications where the switching event is infrequent but the signal path must stay clean.

Maximum off-leakage of 250 nA keeps the signal bias shift negligible in high-impedance paths.

24-TQFN package, rework-friendly footprint

Housed in a 24-WFQFN with exposed pad (4x4 mm body), the TQFN package is a standard hot-air rework target. The exposed pad needs a good solder-paste stencil aperture to avoid voids under the die — a 50% coverage opening works well. No underfill required for most applications, so the part lifts clean if a rework is needed.
