Three DPDT switches in a 4x4 TQFN
The Maxim Integrated MAX4996ETG+T packs three independent DPDT switch circuits into a 24-TQFN (4x4 mm) package. Each section is a 2:2 multiplexer/demultiplexer, giving you six signal paths that can be reconfigured per channel. The 4 ohm max on-resistance keeps insertion loss low for analog signals, and the 670 MHz -3dB bandwidth makes this part usable for video switching or high-speed data paths where signal integrity matters. Supply range is 2.5 V to 5.5 V single supply. Operating temperature covers -40°C to 85°C.
Switching speed and leakage
Turn-on time is 100 µs max, turn-off is 6 µs max. That is fast enough for audio routing, sensor multiplexing, or configuration switching at power-up. Off-state leakage is 250 nA max per channel, and channel capacitance is 2.5 pF off (source) and 4 pF off (drain) — low enough to avoid loading high-impedance analog front-ends. Channel-to-channel on-resistance matching is 100 mOhm max, which matters when you are switching matched gain stages or differential signals — the mismatch stays under a tenth of an ohm.
